Are you a creative and strategic leader with a passion for inclusive design and community impact? Accessible Housing is seeking a Program Manager to lead and grow our RAD Renovations program – an innovative initiative that modifies homes to make them accessible for people with mobility challenges.

This is more than a project management role. It’s a unique opportunity to combine design expertise, strategic thinking, and social enterprise development to change lives and transform communities

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the RAD Renovations program from design to delivery – overseeing home modification projects that help people live with dignity and independence.
  • Build and scale a fee-for-service social enterprise model to expand the program’s reach and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with clients, occupational therapists, contractors, funders, and internal teams to ensure accessibility modifications are functional, beautiful, and code-compliant.
  • Oversee assessments, design drawings, contractor management, costing, and construction schedules.
  • Advocate for inclusive design through public speaking, community events, and partnerships.

What You Bring:

  • A professional design degree or diploma and 3+ years of design experience, with high proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino3D, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, etc.
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Knowledge of Alberta Building Code, Universal Design, and Accessibility Design standards.
  • Rick Hansen Professional Accessibility Certification or the desire to gain this certification; CAPM or PMP is an asset.
  • Experience managing staff or volunteers, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • A growth mindset, a commitment to innovation, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and satisfactory criminal record check.
