Calgary Alliance for the Common Good

The Calgary Alliance for the Common Good organizes the power of our communities so that together we can shape a just and compassionate city. We are a community organizing alliance made up of 32 organizations. Our Mission is to 

1) Create a broad-based, shared organization that is as diverse as Calgary, building relationships among organizations and people from various community, ethnic, non-profit, labour and religious groups.

2)Strengthen our member organizations and their leaders, in order to develop a healthy and effective civic life. 

3) Use the principles and techniques of community organizing to effectively address the real issues facing Calgarians and our member organizations. 

We are a member of the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) networks of broad-based community organizing alliances.
