The Group Facilitator is responsible for facilitating psycho-educational groups for the assign focus clients in distinctive groups settings, that access Counselling and Personal Development (CPD) programs with the YW Calgary. The Group Facilitator aligns their services with the YW Practice Framework, including trauma-sensitive care, feminism, and accessibility, to empower those impacted by family violence, abuse, and transitions, as well as other life stressors.

The Women’s Support Partner plays a crucial role in providing inclusive and equitable support to women and children residing in our emergency domestic violence shelter. This position collaborates closely with shelter staff to ensure a robust support system is maintained for individuals impacted by domestic violence, fostering safety, empowerment, and resource accessibility.
