Summary

Financial Consultant/ Fractional CFO: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Consultant is responsible for financial strategy and execution at Lead. Working with the Leadership team, and our Financial Administrator, this work will support delivery of Lead’s strategic and operational objectives. This Consultant position will be between 7 - 15 hours/week.

JOB OVERVIEW: 
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Consultant is responsible for financial strategy and execution at Lead.  This work will support delivery of Lead’s strategic and operational objectives.   Working with the Leadership Team, the Financial Consultant will manage up to two staff members, Financial Administrator & Payroll & Benefits Administrator.

  1. Improving and developing financial systems, processes, and policies in support of Lead’s mission, including management reporting and organizational planning. 
  2. Working with support staff, overseeing and building on our current finance functions including overseeing monthly budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, controls, payroll, benefits, and audit oversight.
  3. Taking the lead on financial reporting to the Board and leadership team. 
  4. Collaborating professionally and proactively with Managers and teams to promote continuous improvements in workforce planning through providing staffing requirements analysis.
  5. Utilizing technology to support operational efficiency while mitigating operational risk.
