At this pivotal moment, we are seeking a Vice President of Corporate Services to join our executive leadership team and guide the operationalization of our newly developed strategy to ensure a future of continued impact and success.
In this newly created position, the Vice President of Corporate Services plays a crucial role in driving organizational effectiveness and fostering a positive workplace culture reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer. The Vice President will serve as a critical link between the strategic ambitions of our executive leadership team and their execution on the ground, ensuring we are actively driving towards our mission of supporting the growth and success of Calgary’s business community. This individual brings a detailed approach to overseeing the internal aspects of the Chamber, embodying a commitment to operational excellence, and supporting the delivery of services that continue to meet our members' needs and expectations. Success in this role rests in their ability to lead with an entrepreneurial mindset and foster a collaborative environment where operational efficiency and continuous improvement are at the forefront.
This position is a member of the executive leadership team and oversees corporate services such as human resources, information technology, enterprise risk management, legal and internal administration as well as managing third party vendors while supporting the operations that enhance member engagement and satisfaction. This individual possesses exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate for this position may have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field, and a comprehensive background in management and leadership. Key to this role are exceptional interpersonal skills, a coaching mindset and the ability to navigate challenges and drive strategic priorities that enhance the Chamber's role as a leader in Calgary's business community. With a commitment to the Chamber's mission and an innovative, forward-thinking approach, the Vice President of Corporate Services will play a vital role in shaping the future direction of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, contributing significantly to the economic development and growth of Calgary's vibrant business ecosystem.
