Childminder

Childminders assist our Program Facilitators by providing care for the children of parents that are in attendance during programs and other activities. While effectively caring for children between the ages of 0 - 6, the Childminder must use best practices. The main function of the job is engaging children in play-based activities that also ensure their safety.

Link Worker

In collaboration with the In Place Outreach Team, the Link Worker will support participants in living independently within the community and improving their social determinants of health. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Link Worker will apply best practices in social prescribing to connect participants with various social, community, and partner supports. This will help enhance their health and well-being and assist them in safely aging in place.

CDLI Community Connector Coordinator (part time)

The Community Connector Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively on CDLI’s Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) Project alongside the ABCD Project Lead and Capacity Builder, Community Partners and Community Connectors, with the support of CDLI’s Core Staff Team. CDLI’s ABCD Project is the result of a successful application to the City of Calgary’s Building Connected Communities call for proposals in 2024.

Chief Program and Impact Officer

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Program & Impact Officer (CPIO) will provide leadershipand direction for all participant service areas at Carya, aligning with the organization's strategic priorities. TheCPIO will oversee all aspects of operations, with a particular focus on program development and planning,effective delivery and quality control, community relations, and personnel management.
