Outreach Worker – In Place

The In Place Outreach Worker will support participants in living independently within the community and improving their social determinants of health. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Outreach Worker will apply best practices in social prescribing to connect participants with various social, community, and partner supports. This will help enhance their health and well-being and assist them in safely aging in place.

Outreach Worker – The Way In

The Outreach Worker plays a crucial role in the delivery of programs and services to older adults and their families living in the City of Calgary. As a member of The Way In Network and Carya, the Outreach Worker’s primary role is to assist older adults in accessing services and resources in order to improve social inclusion, economic self-sufficiency for older adults and increase the ability for them to participate in the community. This is a 6-month contract position.

Clinical Supervisor

The Clinical Supervisor is a key member of Carya's multi-disciplinary team, responsible for ensuring high-quality program and service delivery to Calgary's citizens. The Clinical Supervisor works closely with the Manager to oversee daily program operations, ensuring participants receive professional and effective services.

Internship: Registered Provisional Psychologists

As part of Carya’s Counselling Services team, a Registered Provisional Psychologist receives support and guidance to develop their expertise, with the aim of becoming a skilled mental health service provider. They also contribute to Carya’s mission of promoting ethical mental health practices. Short-term counseling is provided in 8-10 sessions for individuals, dyads, triads, and families, as well as through group programs.
