Outreach Worker

The Outreach Worker supports older adults and their families across Calgary to access resources, strengthen social inclusion, and participate more fully in their communities. Working collaboratively with participants, families, Carya colleagues, and The Way In Network partners, this role provides assessment, service planning, resource navigation, advocacy, and community-based support.

Outreach Worker

The OASCOT Outreach Worker supports adults aged 55 and older who are at elevated risk by providing assessment, service planning, advocacy, referrals, system navigation, and community connection. Working alongside participants, families, and community partners, the role helps stabilize circumstances, strengthen access to health, housing, income, and social supports, and reduce future crisis involvement.

Intake & Assessment Counsellor

As a member of the Counselling Services Department on the Older Adult and Family Counselling team, you will provide client-directed support to individuals, couples, and families that include a family member aged 55 or older, delivering services within the context of their community.

Facilitator

As part of Carya’s Wellness Collective team, the Wellness Collective Facilitator supports the design, preparation, and co-facilitation of psychosocial group programs that foster connection, wellbeing, learning, and belonging. This role helps create welcoming, inclusive spaces for diverse participants, including older adults, while supporting program adaptation, relationship-building, and continuous learning.

Elder Abuse and Network Coordination Lead

The Elder Abuse and Network Coordination Lead provides program leadership, staff support, and partnership coordination across Carya’s Elder Abuse Response and Prevention programs and The Way In Network. This role strengthens trauma-informed service delivery, collaboration, and system-level responses that improve access, quality, and outcomes for older adults.
