Case Worker

We are a transitional home that serves as a sanctuary and community for pregnant women and mothers experiencing housing instability. Our shared housing is located in inner city Calgary and offers 24/7 support. We work together in support of women’s personal goals, lifelong resilience, leadership and self-confidence.The Case Worker is responsible for directly supporting participants establish and reach their goals and completing tasks associated with daily operations.

Family Support Worker, Homeless Emergency Response (HER) Project

As part of this one-year pilot initiative, Family Support Workers offer direct support to families experiencing homelessness, ensuring smooth daily operations of an innovative hotel stay project. Using a trauma-informed, and family-centered approach, FSWs assist families in navigating hotel stays, including conducting program orientation and communicating expectations, as well as providing essential needs such as food, clothing, hygiene products, and other supplies.

Outreach & Housing Case Manager, Homeless Emergency Response (HER) Project

Inn from the Cold (The INN) is seeking passionate and committed Outreach & Housing Case Managers to support families in crisis through the Homeless Emergency Response (HER) Project. As part of this one-year pilot initiative, Case Managers will support up to 20 families as they transition from homelessness to stable housing, utilizing a hotel-stay model for temporary shelter. The HER Project expands short-term emergency housing options by partnering with local hotels when The INN’s family shelter

Family Support Worker – Emma House

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team at Emma House. Family Emma House Support workers (FSW) work at our Emma House location with expectant mothers or mothers whom have recently given birth, and are experiencing homelessness. FSW’s provide emotional support, basic needs support for mothers and babies during their stay at Emma House and work collaboratively with Case Managers and other program staff.

Homeless Emergency Response (HER) Project Manager

The Manager, HER Project, will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating this one-year pilot project, which provides additional emergency shelter capacity by partnering with local hotels to provide temporary accommodations when The INN’s family shelter is at full capacity.

Family Support Worker

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Relief Family Support Worker to join our team at Inn from the Cold. The Relief Family Support Worker (FSW) works with families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and call The Inn for support. Relief FSW staff will support in the provision of basic and emotional needs and services for families while they are staying in the shelter.

Shelter Family Case Manager

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Indigenous Family Case Manager to join our team at Inn from the Cold. The Indigenous Family Case Manager is dedicated to serving families from diverse backgrounds, with a particular focus on working through an Indigenous worldview when supporting Indigenous families. The Indigenous Family Case Manager plays a critical role in helping families navigate their journey from shelter toward stability, self-sufficiency, and permanent housing.

Housing and Relations Support Worker (Moccasin Pathways)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Housing & Relations Support Worker to join our team at Inn from the Cold. This role supports families through an Indigenous worldview, identifying barriers to housing stability and fostering progress toward independence. By integrating culturally appropriate services, the position plays a vital role in strengthening family connections, fostering healing, and guiding families on their journey toward stability, self-sufficiency, and sustainable housing.
