Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CEO, the Director, Fund Development will determine both the short and long-term strategy for the fund development department, conduct an audit/assessment of what is currently in place, and develop the business plan to address the identified gaps securing the necessary resources to meet the strategic initiatives. The Director will be responsible for all the organization’s fundraising initiatives and work with communications to elevate the brand.

The Fund Development Officer is responsible for advancing the mission of Hospice Calgary’s by fostering strong relationships with donors and volunteers. The position generates donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations by managing a portfolio of donors and prospects.
The Volunteer Coordinator works closely within the Communications and Community Relations team and across the organization to promote, lead, and manage volunteer and practicum student engagement. The Volunteer Coordinator will lead the development and implementation of YW Calgary’s volunteer and practicum student strategies to identify and fulfill immediate and longer term organizational needs and opportunities.
The Manager, Volunteer Resources, under the direction of the Director, Philanthropy and Campaigns, will primarily be responsible for the provision of Inn from the Cold (The Inn)’s volunteer management program. The Manager will recruit, provide: orientation, coordination, development, evaluation and recognition to our team of service volunteers.
