Position Title: Online Education Portal Administrator
Location: Remote (Alberta)
Hours: 15-20 hours per week. 28 month term with possibility of extention
Compensation: $20 per hour

Position Summary:

The Alberta Hospice Palliative Care Association (AHPCA) is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to manage our Online Education Portal and Resource database. This part-time, remote role will support the organization by overseeing the online education platform and ensuring a seamless user experience for our members and learners. The role is ideal for someone who is organized, enjoys working independently, and is passionate about supporting hospice and palliative care initiatives in Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Online Education Portal Administration:

    • Manage and update the online education platform, ensuring all courses, materials, and resources are current.

    • Assist in the onboarding of new users, providing support and troubleshooting as needed.

    • Monitor course participation and completion, generating reports for program evaluation.

    • Work closely with the education and training team to upload new content and manage user access.

  • Data Management & Reporting:

    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems.

    • Create and manage reports to track key performance indicators for membership and online education usage.

    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support organizational goals.

  • Communication & Support:

    • Act as the first point of contact for membership and online education inquiries, providing prompt and helpful responses.

    • Communicate effectively with members and learners to enhance their experience with AHPCA.

    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to member engagement and education.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Learning management systems.

  • WordPress experience.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in data management and reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools.

  • Passion for hospice and palliative care is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a remote position, requiring the candidate to have a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.

  • The position is part-time, 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling.

  • Compensation is $20 per hour.
