We are looking for a Part-time Permanent Helpline Counsellor to work in our Shelter program. This is a union position working 18 hours per week Friday to Sunday from 3pm to 10pm. As a Helpline Counsellor, telephone skills are your biggest asset. You will provide telephone crisis counselling, assessment, and intervention to assist clients who are seeking guidance and resources.
Reporting to the Manager, Meal Services, the Relief Cook at Inn from the Cold (The Inn) is responsible for preparing, presenting and storing all food products as well as ensuring the off-site kitchen, the equipment and the shelter kitchen are cleaned and maintained daily.
