Description
The advocate assists clients with accessing support around housing, health, identification, basic needs, and various legal concerns. The coordinator is responsible for client intake, data entry, and administrative processes for the Community Court project. The coordinator develops and maintains partnerships with external organizations and manages CLG staff & volunteers to provide holistic client service, and helps ensure the Community Court and CLG provide services that are trauma-informed, low-barrier, culturally competent, and client-centered. The coordinator supports staff and volunteers with client management, communication, and de-escalation. The coordinator provides public and stakeholder education on Community Court and CLG’s other services, including representing CLG at community meetings and participating in outreach with CLG colleagues such as Indigenous engagement specialists.
