Responsibilities:
- Preparing breakfast, lunch and snacks for children as outlined on the weekly menu
- Washing all dishes after each meal
- Prepare purchasing list and supervise delivery of groceries
- Keeping kitchen clean following the outlined daily cleaning schedule
- Keeping the food stored safely
- Ensure the food in the storage room is covered tightly
- Attending all staff meeting
- Participating in events and staff development
Qualifications and requitements:
- Safe Food Handling Certificate of completion
- Post a noticeboard and adhere to any food restrictions or allergies
- Acknowledging cultural needs and traditions in menu planning
- Certification as a Level 1 is an asset
- Valid First Aid Certification is an asset
- Police Security Clearance and Child Intervention Record Check
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
