The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to Fund Development & Events and Community Engagement.

Description

Position Summary

This role plays an important part in supporting Fund Development & Events and Community Engagement. Some of the main responsibilities of this role include assisting with maintaining donor databases; assisting with generating and recording correspondence and receipts to donors; assisting with the coordination of AARC events; assisting with planning and running of AARC events; design of mailouts, fundraising campaigns and community engagement outreach materials; assisting with volunteer coordination for AARC events and community engagement events; assisting with preparation of agendas and minutes for various event and community engagement committees; reception coverage as needed.

Qualification Requirements

  • One to three years previous experience in an administrative role.

  • Strong organization ability, planning skills, able to work well under pressure, ability to prioritize, attention to detail.

  • Experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred.

  • Experience with CRM and database software is preferred.
