The Living with Advanced Illness Centre is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (part-time) to join our team that provides community-based mental health and practical support for people impacted by advanced illness.

Description

Hospice Calgary is a non-profit organization serving the Calgary community for over 30 years.

Through our three centres of care, we support children, teens, and adults through the grieving process as they face advanced illness or the death of someone in their life. We promise to have the difficult conversations about death, dying, and grief while honouring each unique experience of grief.

What We Require
 

  • Registration as MSW, CCC, or other related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years clinical supervision experience
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical practice in family mental health
  • Alignment with Hospice Calgary’s values as well as philosophy of hospice and grief care
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare and mental health support services in Calgary and surrounding areas
  • Grief and/or healthcare-environment expertise
  • Understanding of grief and loss in therapeutic work
  • Participation in regular team meetings and community of practice
  • Non-compete agreement, if currently in private practice
  • Valid driver’s license with own transportation
