Program Manager (FT)
Reporting Relationship:
The Program Manager reports directly to the Executive Director
The Program Manager is a Senior Position that is responsible for developing, scheduling and evaluating programs and services offered to the Seniors that frequent the facility. The Program Manager is a a full time position that manages the staff on site as well as the safety and sustainability of the building and the programs contained within.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and distributes monthly newsletter to members
- Ensure mailing list is updated regularly
- Input FSII surveys regularly
- Work in cooperation with other staff to ensure that the needs of members are being met
- Update Executive Director on the status of all activities and operations
- Develop and maintain electronic systems to ensure the needs of the organization are met
- Maintain and update the website and social media accounts
- Ensure open communication with Executive Director
- Ensure that supplies for the organization are ordered and received in a timely manner
- Attend Board Meetings and produce meeting minutes in a timely manner
- Works with the Executive Director to ensure that appropriate programs are available to members
- Develop and maintain a program evaluation process for all programs and instructors
- Recruit and schedule speakers for programs for informational sessions
- Maintain program statistics and prepares reports as required
- Develop schedules for use of hall space for programs
- Conducts market research regarding program trends and competition
- Works cooperatively with other Seniors Centres to link with programs and develop partnerships
- Set up and clean up of program delivery areas daily
- Assist with the registration of members as necessary
- Ensure that all members are kept informed of the activities of the organization
- Assist in day-to-day office management as needed
