Senior Director of Philanthropy & Communications

We are looking for a full time Senior Director of Philanthropy & Communications. The Senior Director of Philanthropy & Communications reports to the Executive Director and is a key member of Hull’s senior leadership team. This role requires close collaboration with other senior directors and with the Senior Operations Team. The Senior Director will also support the Campaign Cabinet, and the Development and Government Relations Committee.

The WiseGuyz Program is a community-facilitated, gender-transformative healthy relationships program developed by the Centre for Sexuality. It facilitates mid-adolescent, male-identified youth to critically examine and deconstruct male gender role stereotypes and expectations, with the objective of improving the mental and sexual health of young men and reducing male-perpetrated dating violence. WiseGuyz program benefits from significant academic research partnerships.

Parent Advocate

The Parent Advocate plays a vital role in the Coordinated Access, Response and Empowerment (C.A.R.E) team as part of the ConnectFASD program. The Parent Advocate works closely with parents who have been diagnosed with or are suspected of having Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The role involves providing strength-based and relational support to build strong family relationships, aiming to prevent and navigate secondary challenges that may arise from the complexities associated with FASD.

Relief Worker

The Relief Workers within Enviros provide support and safety to the clients within each program, working with up to 10 young people (males and females) at any given time. The Relief Worker is responsible for behavior management as per each program requirements and follow-through on pertinent issues (client and program related). The Coordinated Access, Response and Empowerment (C.A.R.E) Connector plays a vital role in advocacy and support to those impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The C.A.R.E Connector will work within a team of Connectors to provide client-centred comprehensive support over the lifespan of the needs of individuals, families, and communities impacted by FASD.
