Miskanawah is an Indigenous agency grounded in Wahkotiwin, supporting children, youth, and families to strengthen their circles of self, family, community, and culture.
We are seeking a Housing Services Manager to provide leadership to our two housing programs in Calgary. This role ensures culturally grounded, high-quality services while navigating Provincial and Federal housing systems while strengthening outcomes for Indigenous families.
Key Highlights:
– Salary: $85,000 – $90,000
– Oversees ~$2M budget (multiple funders)
– Leads team of up to 10 staff (2 direct reports)
What You’ll Do:
– Lead and support a high-performing, relational team
– Oversee housing programs and service delivery
– Navigate housing systems and build partnerships
– Align programs with municipal, provincial, and federal strategies
– Ensure culturally grounded, trauma-informed practice
What You Bring:
– 5+ years leadership experience in human services
– Strong knowledge of housing/homelessness sector
– Experience working with Indigenous communities
– Bachelor’s Degree

This role requires a leader who can balance strategy and frontline realities—supporting staff, navigating systems, and ensuring programs remain responsive and culturally grounded.
