We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mental Health Generalist who has a strong belief in strengths-based approaches to engagement and recovery. This position has a focus on Generalist duties and the social and recreational needs of our members. We are looking for someone who can help to champion the day-to-day functions of the organization as well as to encourage having fun to balance life.

This position works days, evenings, and Saturday shifts weekly as needed.

Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Support and help to create a supportive therapeutic environment which promotes recovery and rehabilitation for our Clubhouse members
  • Work side-by-side with Clubhouse members to support core Clubhouse operations
  • Generate member engagement in the work-ordered d
  • Assume a leadership role in ensuring positive outcomes in members’ lives including offering support in multiple areas of functioning and healthy living
  • Help members to identify and use community resources that promote their well-being, independence, satisfaction, and self-sufficiency
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Compile statistics and complete data reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (In process) in a human services field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in supporting adults with serious mental health needs. Equivalencies will be considered.

Requirements:

  • Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Recent Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector
