The Students’ Association of Mount Royal University (SAMRU) is seeking a customer focussed, business-minded Operations Manager to help with business development and oversee the day-to-day operations of the food court, tenancies, and the facilities of Wyckham House — the student centre and heart of student life at Mount Royal University.
In collaboration with the In Place Outreach Team, the Link Worker will support participants in living independently within the community and improving their social determinants of health. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Link Worker will use best practices in social prescribing to connect participants with social, community, and partner supports, enhancing their health and well-being and assisting them in safely aging in place.
This position provides leadership and oversight to counselling and intake services, ensuring high-quality clinical practice, strong integration with the Crisis Program, and meaningful staff development. DCC’s Counselling Program is currently undergoing a formal evaluation, and the Clinical Services Manager will play a central role in implementing key recommendations.
The Kitchen Engagement Coordinator fosters a warm and inclusive kitchen environment by welcoming and supporting volunteers, coordinating daily lunch production, and ensuring safe and efficient operations. This role fosters community, upholds high kitchen standards, and helps ensure that kids across Calgary receive nutritious meals every day.
