All programs are offered within a wholistic approach which includes traditional Indigenous Spiritual concepts and ceremonies; blended with contemporary methods.
As a member of Carya’s Multigenerational Wellness team, the Elder Friendly Facilitator supports older adults to build social connections, reduce isolation, and feel a sense of belonging in their communities. Through facilitation, community engagement, and program coordination, this role creates meaningful opportunities for seniors to participate, build capacity, and support their social and emotional well-being. Programs are delivered in community settings, with schedules shaped by program need.
