Community Connector – Bridging Legal Gaps

The Community Connector will engage and support community-led actions and advocacy work. They will play a vital role in knowledge dissemination, sharing and accessing resources for temporary foreign workers, newcomers and immigrants and other racialized communities and groups who face challenges in understanding and in accessing legal information due to language or cultural barriers.

Project Coordinator – Youth Justice & Systems Transformation (Y-Justice) Initiative

The Project Coordinator will lead dynamic activities aimed at supporting racialized youth, parents, and ethnocultural communities in understanding and navigating legal rights and systems. The role involves facilitating conversations about the School Resource Officer research findings, conducting literacy and legal education workshops, and providing systems leadership training to empower youth in community action planning and advocacy.

Community Engagement Coordinator

Outlink is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to join a small, collaborative, and cross-functional team to lead peer-support, outreach, communications, administration, inter-agency capacity building initiatives, and to support ongoing and developing programmatic and operational activities including resource development and information sharing.

Volunteer Coordinator (20 hrs/week; 18 month Maternity Leave)

Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre provides a collaborative response to child abuse through intervention, advocacy and a continuum of supports to children, youth and families. The Volunteer Coordinator position is a dynamic role responsible for coordinating the specialized Volunteer Program at Luna, engaging volunteers to fill a variety of roles to support children, youth and families.

Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator provides organizational and administrative expertise to LDAA programs and services. The role prepares reports on program outcomes, manages day-to-day activities, ensures programs are running smoothly, assists public/partner inquiries, supports/assists with marketing, communications, and event planning, and oversees the Alberta Learner’s License Prep Kit program – including ordering, attending trade shows, creating reports, and working with Alberta Registries.

These positions will report to the Project Lead Supervisors.The Project Lead ensures that each program and project is delivered through a lens of inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility and reconciliation and is executed in a way that meets the needs and interests of the community.
