Land Based Oskapewis (Cultural Facilitator/Helper) – Building Safer Communities

The Oskapewis develops and facilitates cultural programs and ceremonies through consultation with other Miskanawah programs and their team. The Oskapewis works in a team environment, contributes to healing and wellness, supports land-based learning, and provides program development and delivery.

Rural Mental Health Lead

Reporting to the Program Director and utilizing a collaborative management approach, this one-year maternity leave position is responsible for the guidance and success of the Rural Mental Health project. This includes developing relationships with communities, guiding the staff team in the implementation of grant objectives, grant reporting, fiscal accountability, coordination of contracted services, and organizational alignment.

Parent-Infant Relationship Practitioner

The Parent-Infant Relationship Practitioner works with parents to strengthen caregiver capacity though interventions/treatments that support the child’s primary caregiving relationship. Parents learn and practice skills that support infant mental health and increase their ability to engage in responsive, caring and nurturing relationships with their child(ren).
