The Employment Counsellor provides individual/ group employment counselling and career planning services to immigrants and refugees residing in Calgary and area. Highlights of the position include: needs determination assessment, training on the most recent job search strategies, resume/ cover letter/ interview preparation, group facilitation, marketing, referrals to employers/ other programs/ services and job placement.

AAM is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations to lead a project focused on Indigenous Relations within the midwifery community across Alberta. The primary goal is to build meaningful relationships with Indigenous midwives, communities, and organizations, and to provide policy advice that supports culturally safe and equitable midwifery care.

Youth Support Worker – Nipisis/Oskipmatsahk – LOA coverage contract

The Youth Support Worker supports Mentor Families to create nurturing, healing environments for youth to learn and grow. This role requires creativity and a willingness to participate in a wide variety of recreational and educational activities each week in order to help youth build healthy connections to people, to the community, and to Indigenous culture.

Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst preforms all technical functions in the preparation of financial models, organizational budgets, grant applications and reporting to third party donors. This role will also be responsible for supporting the financial system through the development and maintenance of financial reports and assisting with administering CMHA Calgary’s banking and investments complying with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
