Program Director

Highbanks supports mothers aged 16 – 24 who are emerging from trauma, homelessness, or instability. With safe, affordable housing and trauma-informed services, our program weaves together education planning, life-skills development, mental-health supports and cultural connection so that young families can heal, grow and move toward confident, independent future.

Project Coordinator (6 month – Fixed Term Contract)

The Project Coordinator reports to the Director of Strategy and Impact and coordinates the implementation of the Centre’s Unaddressed Project. The Unaddressed Project is a partnership among five organizations, with the Women’s Centre acting as lead convenor and backbone. It aims to unearth the scope and scale of women and gender diverse peoples’ housing need and homelessness in Calgary, and work to develop policy and service-level solutions to ultimately improve housing outcomes.

Gay Men’s Health Program Coordinator

We are a nationally recognized community-based organization delivering programs and services to normalize sexuality and sexual health across an individual’s lifespan. The Gay Men’s Health Program Coordinator provides education and support for gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (gbMSM) to increase their knowledge of sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs) and how to prevent them.

Intake & Assessment Counsellor

As a member of the Counselling Services Department on the Older Adult and Family Counselling team, you will provide client-directed support to individuals, couples, and families that include a family member aged 55 or older, delivering services within the context of their community.

As a member of the Adoption Kinship Counselling team, the Family Counsellor will support children, youth, and families by providing guidance and stabilization throughout the adoption and kinship process.
