Chief Executive Officer

The Centre for Newcomers (CFN) is looking for a strategic, values-driven leader to be our next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). A community builder who is passionate about providing opportunities for newcomers and refugees, the CEO will work internally to build capacity, efficiencies, and resources with our team, and externally to support services and initiatives that create conditions for newcomers’ success and foster a welcoming environment in Calgary.

People and Culture Manager

The People and Culture Manager will report to the Director of People and Culture and be part of an 11-person P&C team. This leadership role has four direct reports, including two P&C Generalists, one P&C Specialist, and a P&C Administrator. This is a special opportunity for a knowledgeable and confident Human Resources leader who has extensive experience in employee relations and a proven ability to develop and lead a dedicated team of P&C professionals.

Family Support Worker – Emma House

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team at Emma House. Family Emma House Support workers (FSW) work at our Emma House location with expectant mothers or mothers whom have recently given birth, and are experiencing homelessness. FSW’s provide emotional support, basic needs support for mothers and babies during their stay at Emma House and work collaboratively with Case Managers and other program staff.

Learning & Development Trainer

We’re looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join Wood’s Homes as a Learning & Development (L&D) Trainer on a 3-year contract. This role is the ‘face’ of Wood’s Homes to all new hires as you oversee our 3-week internal onboarding program called The Woods Homes Academy.

Interim Executive Director (15 Months)
