Outreach Worker

The Prenatal Outreach Support Team (POST) is a collaborative initiative between Calgary Police Service (CPS), CUPS and Kindred, to identify and provide specialized intervention and referrals for vulnerable pregnant women in high-risk situations. The POST Outreach Worker position is designed to enhance and assist in providing support and outreach to marginalized people who are pregnant or parenting newborns with cultural awareness and humility.

Parent Support Worker

The Parent Support Worker (PSW) supports young parents, attending Louise Dean Centre, to work towards their individual goals including furthering their education. Using a Case Management approach, the PSW will assist young parents to create service plans, connect to internal and external resources and provide crisis and emotional support. The PSW meets with clients individually as well as supports co-taught classes and psycho-educational groups.
