Childminder

Childminders assist our Program Facilitators by providing care for the children of parents that are in attendance during programs and other activities. While effectively caring for children between the ages of 0 – 6, the Childminder must use best practices. The main function of the job is engaging children in play-based activities that also ensure their safety.

Link Worker

In collaboration with the In Place Outreach Team, the Link Worker will support participants in living independently within the community and improving their social determinants of health. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Link Worker will apply best practices in social prescribing to connect participants with various social, community, and partner supports. This will help enhance their health and well-being and assist them in safely aging in place.

Fathering Coach – Fathering for the Future

We are looking for a passionate and committed professional to join our organization as a Fathering Coach with our Fathering for the Future portfolio. The purpose of this role is to support those that identify as fathers and/or male caregivers by providing home-based support to families with children to promote healthy child development; caregiver capacity-building; family resilience; and community connections.

Supervisor, Shelter Services

The Supervisor for the Shelter Services leads a team that supports individuals and families who reside in a second stage women’s housing. This position supervises the staff of the children, families, and adult programs. This position works in partnership with the Director of Programs to plan, implement and provide leadership throughout all programming and services for the shelter. This role reports to the Director of Programs and is an active collaborator.

Family Support Worker – Nitsanak Mamawintowak

Family Support Workers provide home-based support to Indigenous families with children newborn to age twelve and pregnant mothers.

Part-time Cultural Coordinator

The part-time Cultural Coordinator will focus on planning and organizing cultural events, managing digital resources, and providing essential administrative support for our Resource Bank Team.
