Housing Manager – Interim Housing Calgary

The Canadian Centre for Men and Families is a mental health and social service charitable agency that works to fill critical gaps in men’s services to reduce male suicide, empower fathers undergoing separation and divorce, and help boys and men heal from trauma. The Family Shelter Client and Program Manager will be responsible for client intake, case management and facility operations at the Family Shelter for Men and Children. Patience, diplomacy, compassion and multi-tasking required.

The Indigenous Home Visitor provides home-based support to Indigenous families and families who are connected with Indigenous Culture with children newborn to age six and pregnant mothers, in order to promote healthy child development; caregiver capacity-building; family resilience; and community connections.

Case Worker

We are a transitional home that serves as a sanctuary and community for pregnant women and mothers experiencing housing instability. Our shared housing is located in inner city Calgary and offers 24/7 support. We work together in support of women’s personal goals, lifelong resilience, leadership and self-confidence.The Case Worker is responsible for directly supporting participants establish and reach their goals and completing tasks associated with daily operations.

Shelter Case Manager – 12 Month Term

The Case Manager provides a coordinated, supportive role to individuals and families who have experienced violence and abuse, residing in our second stage shelter. Case managers are a critical piece of our multi-disciplinary team, focused on supporting clients as they walk through their individualized, healing journey.

Nipsisak Cultural Oskapewis (Cultural Facilitator)

The Nipsisak Oskapewis is responsible for supporting relatives connected with Miskanawah’s housing and homelessness diversion programs with appropriate cultural or ceremonial resources, in efforts to support their journey to stable housing.
